Large Petit Trianon Style Hanging Lantern

Petit Trianon style circular brass hanging lantern. The lantern top is adorned with Pineapples and leaves. The top of the frame is decorated with wavy ribbons tied into bows with beaded chains and tassels draping over the glass. The bottom of the frame is decorated with baluster railing and pineapple finials. This lantern was reclaimed from the Koshland House, a San Francisco residence in Presidio Heights built in 1904 and on the National Register of Historic Places. It accepts 4 standard base (E12) candelabra light bulbs.
