community outreach
PlaceMakers works in earnest to support our local community whenever possible. We are especially proud of our involvement in the 2011 Rebuilding Together Peninsula’s “Dreams Happen” playhouse auction.
Together with Peterson Architects,
PlaceMakers created the elaborate “Two Faced Gymazeium” playhouse. We gave form to the dream by using the best of our inventory of old growth fir, redwood and other heritage treasures. The finished gymazeium was truly one of a kind; a masterful integration of old and new that both delighted and inspired.
The “Dreams Happen” biennial fundraiser helps fund National Rebuilding Day’s
renovation and repair projects for low income individuals and non-profits who cannot manage the upkeep of their homes and offices on their own.
PlaceMakers hopes to participate in this event again soon, and would like to thank our 2011 donors and sponsors. Together we made a difference.
Special Thanks
