Intricately cast gilt bronze light sconces depicting Melusine–a two-tailed mermaid that was a traditional subject of medieval and early renaissance art. These sconces were reclaimed from a 1926 San Francisco Pacific Heights home. Originally designed for holding candles, they were converted to be electric and given shades (included) They have wax candle stems and accept a standard based E26 light bulb.
15 3/4″ tall x 4 1/2″ projection from the wall and 4″ at the widest.
