Byzantine Revival Architectural style concrete pillar and capital. Reclaimed from San Francisco’s historic Temple Emanu-El Synagogue, designed by Arthur Brown Jr. (1874- 1957), architect. He also designed San Francisco City Hall, Burnham Pavilion (Stanford University), War Memorial Opera House, and Coit Tower.
52″ overall height x 13″ diameter. Capital is 16″ x 16″.
Each shaft is hollow concrete. The capitals are separate from the base.
